Bush No Longer The "Decider", Now the "Assessor"
George Bush is now "assessing" himself according to today's speech. Perhaps he will be "assessing" others in his Administration beyond Rumsfeld. How about Rove.
Even more amazing, is his comment that this was a surprise to him. Holy cow, bet that hit him like a ton of bricks. Obviously, the guy likes to be told those things that he likes to hear.
Oh, and where's JD?

Well, since 'assessor' is such abig word for the President, he should just be referred to as 'the ASS'!

Bush did a nice job of making the headlines for tomorrow..."A Thumpin!" Also, I really liked the dig at Rove.
He threw out some old issues to the Dems, and all of them need tweaking, but those things are not going to be enough and it will be interesting to see Bush attempt to defend the upper class tax cuts, in light of funding NCLB and other initiatives.
The Democrats will now set the agenda for Bush, it should bring many good things for Americans and in a backhanded way, build Bush's 'legacy' in his last 2 years.
(Although the first 6 are certainly going to overshadow those efforts).
